The U-Report India awareness and enrollment campaign at Tinsukia Commerce College from November 6 to November 9, 2023, aimed at introducing the U-Report India platform to students and encouraging their active participation. Ambassadors Priyankshu Dey (An 18 year old, Rajya Puraskar Awardee, Bharat Scouts & Guides member from Northeast Frontier Railway) and Pratham Nag (A 23 Year-old President Awardee youth from Assam, Bharat Scouts & Guides), conducted a three-day event with informative sessions, enrollment campaigns, and a referral competition.
Seeking permissions from college authorities,
including Principal Dr. Chaytanya Bora, Vice Principal Ranjan Kalita, and
Librarian Dr. Sadananda Nath, the ambassadors explained the U-Report India
platform's objectives, securing support from the college's IQAC department,
student union, and relevant authorities.

of a referral competition with incentives for the top two referrers.

of a Google Form for enrollment.
Day 3 - November 8, 2023:
· Additional
session at the college auditorium.
· Explanation
of the referral competition and its criteria.
· Collection
of data and conclusion of the competition.

enrollment of over 400 U-Reporters.

Semester, with 120 referrals.

Place: Rashmi Das, HS 2nd Year, with
112 referrals

and respect received from college authorities, teachers, students, and the
student union.

by the Principal for outstanding achievements and efforts.
· Provided
gifts to the top 2 U-Reporters who made the maximum referrals: Most valuable
U-Reporter certificate each and U-Report goodies like hoodies and lowers for
their utmost value addition. The prizes were distributed in the presence of
honorable Dr. Chaytanya Bora (Principal TCC) and Baljeet Kaur
(President/SUTCC).
· Self-financed
our banner without any external help and arranged Phulam gamusa to felicitate
Principal Dr. Chaytanya Bora, Vice Principal Ranjan Kalita, and Librarian Dr.
Sadananda Nath and travelling expenses.
Feedback and Impact:
• Positive feedback from participants and college
stakeholders.
• Increased awareness of U-Report India and its
campaigns.
• Approximately 200 students directly benefited from
the sessions.
Conclusion:
The U-Report India event at Tinsukia Commerce College
was a resounding success, achieving its goal of creating awareness, promoting
enrollment, and fostering engagement. The ambassadors' efforts were recognized
and appreciated, making a significant impact on the college community and
beyond.
