Rubeena a dynamic U-Ambassador from Madhya Pradesh

Rubeena is vibrant young U-Ambassador form Madhya Pradesh who is striving as a youth leader in her community to bring U-Report India to her peers and community members.



She has conducted several small events where she included U-Report India and promoted it as a tool for change:

Event 1: In the village of Khajri Fulsha, located in the development block of Jamai, district Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, an event was organized in a secondary school. The event on U-Report India was conducted, focusing on education. The topics of cleanliness and environment were discussed with the children. The entire school, including all teachers and students, participated in the event. The head teacher of the secondary school provided support for the event.

Event 2: The second event took place at Gram Panchayat Jamkunda, in the development block of Jamai, district Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. The focus of this event was on nutrition, diet, and the health of children. Participants included Anganwadi workers, as well as all the women and children of Gram Panchayat Jamkunda. The event received full cooperation from the Gram Panchayat’s Sarpanch, Secretary, Deputy Sarpanch, and officers from the Women and Child Development Department.

Event 3: A tree plantation program was organized at the Government College in Junnardev. U-Report India's environment initiative were promoted. The entire staff and student body of the college participated in the event. The college Principal, Dr. YK Sharma, Dr. Mrs. Rashmi Nagvashi, and Sangeeta Washington, along with the entire college family, supported the event.

Event 4: This event was held at the Government Scheduled Caste Primary Secondary School in Jamkunda. The aim of this event was to educate children about narcotics, child protection, and the concepts of good touch and bad touch. The event was attended by students from classes 5, 6, 7, and 8, along with the entire school family. The school’s Principal, BLO Sir, Mahajan Madam, and all the teachers and children cooperated in the event. Rubeena cleverly presented Cyber Bullying Bot of U-Report India in this event.


Event 5:

This event was organized to inform and to connect civilians to U-Report India during a voter awareness campaign. The program was organized with the students of Sai Coaching Class in Junnardev, where the teacher, Mr. Nagvanshi, fully supported the event. All students were informed about U-Report India, how it works, who can participate in it, and its benefits. After learning all this, the students were enthusiastic about joining U-Report India.


With all government institutions such as National Service Scheme, NCC, RSS Team, Scout Guide, Women’s Self-Help Group, etc., at the Government Shri Nandlal Excellent School campus this event was organised. During this time, all government employees and students were present at the program venue. The main objective of the program was to increase awareness of young people on how important voting is and how U-Report utilizes polling and surveys to ensure change for young people.



NEW EVENT:

Rubina took the initiative to organize an awareness program at Junnardev's Computer Coaching Class in Junnardev Vishala, Village Chatua. The event focused on introducing the community to U-Report India, aiming to foster connections and raise awareness about the significance of voting. Rubina eloquently presented the details of U Report India, elucidating its functions, and the diverse range of topics it covers, including mental health, skill development, employment, climate change, career guidance, and global issues.


As the appointed U Ambassador for U-Report India, Rubina shared her experiences and emphasized the potential opportunities for the students in attendance. The program successfully conveyed the essence of U Report India as a valuable platform where individuals can access crucial information and earn U points by completing tasks, leading to various rewards. The enthusiastic response from the students reflected their eagerness to join U Report India and actively engage with its offerings.


In addition to the U Report India awareness initiative, Rubina extended her efforts to conduct a voter awareness campaign in different locations. Notably, a voter awareness rally was organized in primary and secondary schools in the development block of Jamai, where key figures such as the head teacher, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, and teachers participated. The campaign's primary objective was to achieve 100 percent voter turnout, and various activities, including wall writing slogans in village Chatua, were undertaken to promote this crucial civic duty. Connecting participants with U-Report India, the campaign also integrated life skills and career guidance components, further enriching the community's knowledge and engagement. The success of these endeavors was evident as participants not only gained valuable insights but also expressed their joy in becoming a part of U Report India.
