Rajasthan's U-Ambassador Vikram Kumar’s Journey of Youth Empowerment and Awareness

Vikram Kumar is a U-Ambassador who is associated with BSG, an organization that works for youth empowerment and awareness in India. He is passionate about spreading the word about U-Report India, a platform that enables young people to express their opinions and get information on various issues such as climate change, mental health, career guidance, and more.

Vikram Kumar decided to organize an event in his Gram Panchayat in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, to introduce U-Report India to the students in his community. He approached the librarian of the government library and explained his idea. The librarian was impressed by U-Report India and agreed to host the event.

Vikram Kumar gathered about 30 students in the library and gave them an overview of U-Report India and its various programs. He also demonstrated the fundoo activity, a fun and interactive way to learn new things. He told the students that U-Report India is a platform where they can voice their views and get information on topics that matter to them. He also encouraged them to join U-Report India and become youth champions.

Many students were interested in U-Report India and became u-reporters on the spot. Vikram Kumar also launched a Bench to Bench campaign, where he asked the students to spread the word about U-Report India among their peers. The students were enthusiastic and eager to participate in this campaign.

The event was a success and Vikram Kumar thanked the students and the librarian for their support. He faced some challenges along the way, but he overcame them with his wisdom and positive thinking.

Vikram Kumar’s initiative was a meaningful and effective way to address the problems of mental health, career, and other issues that affect the youth today. He showed how U-Report India can be a powerful tool for youth empowerment and awareness.
