Tamil Champion U-Ambassador: Mohammed Asheem

Mohammed Asheem, a U Ambassador from Tamil Nadu, organized a successful event to spread awareness about U-Report India among college students. He did not receive any financial support from U-Report India and used his own money to print a banner and hire a photographer for the event.

He conducted the event at his college, Government Arts College, with the help of the college management, the NSS officer, and the district youth officer. He faced some challenges before the event, such as preparing the presentation and dealing with a power cut, but he managed to overcome them with his confidence and communication skills.

He covered various topics related to U-Report India, such as mental health, career guidance, English skills, and polls. He also showed the students how to join U-Report India using his mobile phone and gave them UNICEF's mobile number and his U-ID. The event was attended by about 350 students who showed interest and enthusiasm in U-Report India.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Mohammed Asheem to the management, staff, and students. The event had a positive impact on the students, who contacted Mohammed Asheem later with queries and feedback. The principal praised Mohammed Asheem for his good work and association with such a good platform. He encouraged him to bring more such information and motivate the students.
