Empowering Change: Yadvendra Kadam's Impact as an U-Ambassador in Madhya Pradesh

Residing in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Yadvendra Kadam, an active and brilliant U-ambassador took a step forward to inspire and empower people around him.
He, on October 5, 2023, went for a workout near Vrinda Sahay Government College. There were about 80 to 90 people present doing their exercises. He grabbed this opportunity of introducing U-report India, a platform amplifying youth voices, to those people.
This came with challenges, people did not have any idea about U-report, but he persisted and introduced them about the platform and explained how it can open many opportunities for them.
He succeeded in developing their interest to know more about the platform and then he slowly started explaining everything in detail. He described how U-report can help them in making good career choices, improving skills, and boosting knowledge.
People were glad to know about the platform and were interested in joining it. He made about 50 people empowered by inspiring them to join U-report India.
Also, on 8 October 2023, he made an effort to introduce the U-report platform to his friends during a group study. He told them about funDoo, life skills and many other activities which they could utilise for their betterment. About 10 people were present and all of them happily joined the platform.
His remarkable efforts of youth empowerment has made a difference in many people's lives.
This was Yadvendra Kadam's story, a 23-year-old youngster who was empowered and took the initiative to empower others as well.

Yadvendra visited Sanskar Indian Public School in Dabra, armed with their onboarding letter. Yadvendra engaged in a conversation with the school's Principal, Mr. Vikram Raj, introducing themselves as a U-Report India Ambassador. The Principal inquired about the program, and in response, Yadvendra elaborated that U-Report India is a UNICEF chatbot program offering crucial information on topics such as mental health, English language learning, skill development, employment, climate change, career development, gender equality, and both national and international issues.
The principal was impressed and even extended an invitation for Yadvendra to deliver a presentation in the school. Yadvendra then facilitated the connection between the school Principal and U-Report India. A fruitful discussion ensued, and Yadvendra concluded by expressing gratitude and presenting their onboarding letter, capturing the moment with a photograph. 🏫
NEW EVENT:
Yadvendra and Shivam Godyale (another U-Ambassador from Madhya Pradesh), organized a session under the U-Ambassadors India program to introduce U-Report India to students. The session was held at Sanskar Indian Public School, Dabra, and was part of a referral campaign to increase awareness about U-Report India. The session also included a dialogue with students about the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections in 2023.
The U-Ambassador was assisted by local active U-Reporter Anand Maurya, U-Ambassador Shivam Godiyal, and Priyanshu. The session was attended by the school’s principal, Mr. Vikram Raj, and the entire staff.
About 100 students, primarily from grades 6 to 10, participated in the session. The U-Ambassador gave a brief introduction to U-Report India and explained how the portal could be useful for youth to engage with current issues such as climate change, personal hygiene, and mission life. The U-Ambassador also discussed the benefits of participating in these activities, such as receiving national and international certificates, invitations to events, and the opportunity to work at a wider level.
The participants were connected to U-Report India through a referral ID, and they were encouraged to invite others to join the platform. The session concluded with a dialogue and a question-and-answer session.
The session had a positive impact on the youth, who showed great enthusiasm for U-Report India and were eager to earn U-Points and make a difference in their society.
