Vijay Kumar Gupta of NSS is doing the work of empowerment and awareness. He also paid attention to the backward people in society. The result of his foresight was that he achieved success in this work with his dedication and devotion.
1st Event
He got the opportunity to express his views and feelings under the “Smile for All” program in Shramik Basti, Sector 7, Bhilai. He believes that starting U Report India, a platform that amplifies the voice of the youth, can be a meaningful step for society. This program was not without some challenges. Because the people of the colony were not ready to send their children, through dedication and determination, he also convinced the parents of the children. With the support of the “Smile for All” program members and the state coordinator, the trust of the residents of the colony, and his own dedication, he made this program a great success. 22 members of this Shramik Basti participated in this awareness program, and they understood the precautions and valuable information very well. Vijay shared information about U-Report India’s programs at this event. He explained its benefits, which included solutions to current problems like climate change. He gave information about its various programs, like climate change, mental health, etc., along with some facts.
Along with this, he gave information to the children about good touch, bad touch, etc. and played games with them. He encouraged a sense of unity among the participants.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the residents and members of Smile for All.
In today’s world, where strong steps are taken towards the present of children to secure their future, Vijay completed this responsibility with dedication in this direction.
2nd Event
Now let us take you on an exciting journey of Vijay. Let’s move on to his second story. With this eagerness, hard work, and dedication, he decided to make this program successful,
In the “Gagan Raj Foundation” NGO, give information to the class children about U Report, empowerment, strengthening their voice, and raising their voice on various issues. The purpose of doing this program was to make a successful effort to improve the mentality of children and develop good habits in them. He said that U Report is a place where all the youth can stay organised and share their opinions on different issues.
20 children and some members of the Gagan Raj Foundation NGO participated in this program. They did not know about such a platform earlier, but they were surprised to know that there is such a platform where we can make our point.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the members of the Gagan Raj Foundation.
According to today’s time, the work of empowering the youth of the coming generation can be done by empowering and making them aware of the present time. Vijay has achieved success in this direction.
3rd Event
Similarly, as soon as Vijay got the opportunity, he moved forward on the path of empowerment and awareness. In this sequence, he decided to make his college classmates aware and tell them about the Youth Platform.
He Gave information about the U Report and youth empowerment to their classmates, “M.Sc. final-year Chemistry students” at “Indira Gandhi Government Post Graduate College”, “Veshali Nagar, Bhilai.” He said that it is a messaging platform that gives you information on important issues, collects your opinions and conveys your voice to the policymakers. Likewise, he also told the students how to take various career-related guidance through U Report. 12 students participated in this program who were very happy to know about the U Report and showed readiness to connect with it. Vijay solved some of the problems related to this event with his foresight and wisdom. Based on his wisdom and dedication, he appealed to the community to become a U-reporter and initiate a positive change in society. After this entire discussion, the event was finally concluded by thanking the students for making it a success.

4th Event
On October 21, 2023, Vijay conducted an awareness session for the NSS volunteers at Indira Gandhi Government Postgraduate College, Vaishali Nagar, Bhilai, Durg (Chhattisgarh). The session was led by NSS officer Mr. Suresh Kumar Thakur and U-Ambassadors, who are volunteer spokespersons of U-Report India.
The session focused on the importance of mental health and well-being for young people, especially during challenging times. The participants shared their concerns and experiences related to their academic results and family environment. They were encouraged to face the problems with courage and optimism, and to seek solutions rather than worrying. They were also introduced to the various features and benefits of U-Report, such as polls, stories, chat-bots, and engagement opportunities. By the end of the session, 28 volunteers joined U-Report India and became part of a global movement of young people taking actions for positive change in their communities and their own lives.
5th Event
08/11/23, at 12 noon, NSS volunteers of Indira Gandhi Government Post Graduate College, Vaishali Nagar, Bhilai Durg were given information about U Report India. This event was organized with the permission of Program Officer Dr. Chandni Markam Madam. In the program, volunteers were briefed on how U Report India works, aiding in addressing new challenges. Whether it's health or education, U Report India engages in discussions on various topics with the youth.
Twenty people participated in the program and connected with U Report India.
6th Event
On November 4, 2023, at 12:30 pm, Indira Gandhi Government Post Graduate College, Vaishali Nagar, Bhilai. The topic "Life Skills and Career" was openly discussed with the second and final students. This program was organized under the guidance of Physics Department Dr. Smriti Agarwal Madam.
Twenty-three students were present in the program, and they greatly appreciated it. They realized the direction in which they should move forward.
